Habitat for Humanity Malawi (HFHM) is a non-profit Christian organization established in 1986, working towards the vision of "A Malawi where everyone has a decent place to live." In addition to housing, HFHM implements integrated WASH, climate resilience, and livelihood interventions across several districts in Malawi.
With funding from BMZ and ADH, HFHM is implementing the project "Scaling Malawi's Capacity in WASH-Climate-Smart Agriculture." The project responds to increasing climate variability, water insecurity, and food system vulnerabilities affecting rural communities. It seeks to strengthen participatory WASH systems, climate adaptation, and resilient agriculture through assessments, knowledge
transfer, and innovation.
HFHM therefore invites qualified consultancy firms or individuals to submit proposals for conducting a comprehensive needs and capacity assessment and generating evidence by mapping successful Integrated WASH-Climate-Food Security models in Malawi, with a view to informing scalable programming and regional replication.
The assignment comprises two work packages.
1. Participatory Needs and Capacity Assessment (PNCA)
2. Evidence mapping of successful integrated models, culminating in a compendium of best practices.
