DATE OF ISSUE: FRIDAY, 30TH JANUARY 2026

1 The Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi Limited (ESCOM), a state-owned company, has budgeted funds to be used for the provision of Catering Services on a one-year framework contract for the Northern Region.

2. The Corporation now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the following:

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the Malawi Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2025

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents from ESCOM's Procurement Office at the address given in paragraph 7(a) below from 08:00 to 12:00 hrs, 13:00 to 16:00 hrs local time, Monday to Friday, except national public holidays.

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders at 7(b) below upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MK10,000.00. The method of payment will be cash or bank certified cheque.

6. Bids must be delivered to the Tender Box at the address at 7jc) below on or before 19 February 2026 at 10.00 hours local time. Electronic bidding will not be permitted, and Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address 7id below on 19 February 2026 at 10:30 hours local time.
