Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi (NMCM) is a Statutory Corporation established under Cap 36.01 of the laws of Malawi to regulate the training of education and practice of nurses and midwives in Malawi.
As part of the good corporate governance practice and also as a way of giving feedback to stakeholders on the programmes implemented by Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi, the Authority requires the provision of an Annual Report, audited financial statements and other information relating to the Authority.
It is against this background that NMCM is inviting interested audit firms to submit an expression of interest to provide external audit services for the period of three years from 2026 to 2028
The bidding process will be conducted in accordance with the Request for Proposal procedures contained in the Public Procurement laws and Regulations of the Government of Malawi and is open to all eligible firms.

The successful auditor shall closely collaborate with NMCM Director of Finance and Administration.
The successful audit firm shall provide the audit services for three consecutive years from 2025-26 to 2027-2028 Financial Year.
Interested eligible firms should deposit their Expression of Interest (EOI) into the Tender box placed at the NMCM Secretariat, City Centres. Lilongwe by Friday, 13 February 2026 at 14:00 hours. Late Eol will be rejected.
The EOls will be opened on the same date, 13th February 2026, at 14:00 hours at the Anamwino House in the NMCM secretariat Boardroom. City Centre in Lilongwe. Requests for proposals (RFP's) will only be sent to Consultants who meet the above criteria.
