Activity background

Feed the Children, with the support from the Child Sponsorship Program, continues to implement the Child Focused Community Development Program (CFCDP), which aims to improve the quality of life of children, their household and the communities in Malawi. The program primarily targets children under the age of five, focusing on the first 1000 days of life. The project operates in three districts of Malawi including Rumphi, Salima and Mzimba, covering 5 TAs. The aim is to procure and distribute schools to enrolled children to improve educational outcomes, reduce school dropouts rates and promote continued participation in education through Child Sponsorship Program.

FEED is inviting potential suppliers to supply and deliver various school supplies as per the specifications below:

Qualifications

Applicants must have the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in supply and branding school supplies
• Demonstrated familiarity with supplies
• All Business registration and VAT certificates
• Provide three contacts for reference check and validation.

• A Cover Letter detailing the relevant skills and experience of the applicant.
• Company's/Firm profile
• Technical Plan/Approach - demonstrated understanding of the assignment, clarity, and detail of the processes to be undertaken, creativity and innovativeness of approach, assurance of quality control, responsiveness, and timeliness in delivery of tasks.
• A comprehensive price list covering all aspects of this requirement.
• Copies of previous contracts should be included to demonstrate the ability to deliver this task.
• Any other supporting documents in line with the requirements of this Request for Tender

Please note: This request represents only a definition of requirements and does not legally obligate FEED the Children. Only the execution of a written contract shall obligate FEED the Children in accordance with the terms and conditions contained therein. Failure to comply with the tender rules shall also lead to disqualification. In addition, FEED the Children will not be obliged to accept the lowest bidder.
