Malawi Institute of Education (MIE) is a national curriculum development centre mandated by an Act of Parliament (2013), Section 84. Among other responsibilities, MIE is mandated to publish textbooks, teachers' guides and other instructional materials.
MIE therefore invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of Printing machinery and accessories; and provision of support services as follows.

Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in accordance with the Public Procurement Act (2025) and the Public Procurement Regulations (2020) of the Government of the Republic of Malawi
Interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding documents from the Chairperson of the Internal Procurement and Disposal Committee at the address given below from 08:00hrs to 12:00hrs and from 14:00hrs to 16:00hrs, local time- Monday to Friday, except during weekends and national public holidays.
A Bidding Document in English Language may be purchased by interested bidders from the Malawi Institute of Education upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MK 20,000.00. The method of payment shall be Malawi Kwacha, either in cash or bank transfer to MIE Business Account 9100001178145
Bids must be deposited in the Tender Box at the address below on or before Thursday, 26 February 2026 at 14:00hrs, local time. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below on Thursday, 26 February 2026 at 14:00hrs, local time
