1. The Government of Malawi, through the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development, invites eligible consulting firms to submit Technical and Financial Proposals for the provision of Design Review and Construction Supervision Services for the Salima-Lilongwe Water Supply Project.

2. Bidding will be conducted through Open tendering - National Competitive Bidding (NCB).

3. This procurement shall be conducted in accordance to the procurement and laws of the Malawi Government, using the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method.

4. The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders from the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MK 20,000.00, (Twenty Thousand Kwacha Only.

5. The method of payment will be bank deposit at the NBS Bank account as provided hereunder.

Electronic Bidding will not be permitted.

7. Bid opening will be done in the presence of bidder's representatives and general public on 27 February, 2006, at 10:00 local time in at the address below. Late Bids will be rejected.
