1. The Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi Limited (ESCOM) a state-owned company with funding from Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet has budgeted funds to be used for the procurement of Operations and Maintenance Services for the Battery Energy Storage system at Kanengo in Lilongwe Malawi.
2. The Corporation now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the following:

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the Malawi Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2025.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents from ESCOM's Procurement Office at the address given in paragraph 8(a) below from 08:00 to 12:00 hrs, 13:00 to 16:00 hrs local time (Monday to Friday) except national public holidays.
5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders at 8(b) below upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MK50,000.00. The method of payment will be cash or bank certified cheque. Below are the designated bank accounts:

6. Non-mandatory Pre-Bid meeting shall be conducted at Kanengo (Lilongwe) on 25th February 2025 from 9am. Bids must be delivered to the Tender Box at address at 8(c) below on or before 16th March 2026 at 10.00 hours local time. Electronic bidding will not be permitted, and Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address 8(d) below on 16th March 2026 at 11:00 hours local time. 7.
