1. Background: Medical Council of Malawi (MCM) is a Statutory Corporation established under the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Act No. 17 of 1987, Chapter 36:01 of the Laws of Malawi. MCM exists to protect the public and guide the medical, dental and allied health professions. The MCM has the mandate of regulating practitioners, health facilities and training institutions, and managing health care-related complaints.

2. Medical Council of Malawi intends to apply part of its approved budget towards the Procurement of Security Services for Medical Council of Malawi Offices and Management Residences.

3. The Chairperson of the Medical Council of Malawi now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the provision of the following, for a 3year period: -

i. Provision of One Day Security Officer

ii. Provision of 2 Night Security Officers at MCM Offices

iii. Provision of 3 Night Residential Security Officers

iv. Provision of 1 Night Dog and Handler

v. Provision of Alarm Service

4. Sealed bid documents clearly marked 'Provision of Security Services' must be delivered to the address below by Monday, 16th of March 2026, 10:00 am local time. Note that late proposals will be rejected.
