DAI operates at the forefront of global development, transforming innovative ideas into impactful actions. Our mission addresses critical social and economic challenges stemming from inefficient markets, ineffective governance, and instability. DAI works with a variety of clients, including national and local governments, bilateral and multilateral donors, private corporations, and philanthropic organisations. Since our inception in 1970, we have worked in over 150 countries, delivering tangible results across various international development contexts-from stable societies and thriving economies to regions grappling with political or military conflict. In Malawi, DAI has been active since 1980 and currently manages four contracts with the European Union, USAID, and the Scottish Government
DAI was awarded the SG-funded Climate Just Communities - Malawi (CJC Malawi) operating in Chikwawa, Karonga, Machinga, Neno, Phalombe, Salima and Zomba in selected Traditional Authorities (TA).
