PROCUREMENT REFERENCE NUMBER: MRA/EXTERNAL AUDIT SERVICES/20/01/2026

1. The Malawi Revenue Authority is an agency responsible for the collection and accounting of tax revenue on behalf of the Malawi Government. The Authority has budgeted funds for the procurement of engagement of external auditors for the following financial years: 2025/2026, 2026/2027 and 2027/2028.

2. The Authority now invites sealed Technical and Financial Proposals for the Provision of Consultancy services for External Audit Services for 3 consecutive financial years as per Terms of Reference contained in the Request for Proposal document.

3. The bidding process shall be conducted in full compliance with the provisions of Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act (2025) and its subsidiary Legislations. Participation is open to all eligible Service Providers.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Request for Proposal (RFP) document from MRA's Supply Chain Management office at Msonkho House, Floor 1, Room 124 from 08:00 to 12:00 hours, 13:30 to 16:30 hours local time (Monday to Friday) except on public holidays.

5. A complete set of the RFP Document in English shall be acquired upon payment of non-refundable fee of K5,000.00 in cash or bank certified cheque. Bidding documents may be purchased from the Cash Office on Floor Number 1 of Msonkho House, Blantyre. Documents will only be issued upon production of a valid proof of payment.

6. Clearly marked Technical and Financial Proposals must be deposited in the Tender box at the Ground Floor Reception, of Msonkho House, Blantyre at or before 15:00hrs local time on 04th March, 2026. Late submissions shall be rejected and returned to the bidder unopened.

7. Malawi Revenue Authority is not in any way bound to accept any applications but reserves the right to reject any or all applications and cancel the procurement proceedings at any stage.

8. Technical and Financial Proposals in sealed and separate envelopes clearly marked with the "Tender Description and Procurement Reference Number" should be addressed to:-
